Alfred Harth in 1964 had opened the club H in Frankfurt/Main as a meeting point and mainly platform for live concerts. In the beginning his band Interton-Combo performed mostly written entertainment arrangements while he was playing the clarinet only.
In 1965 Harth arranged some changes in music styles and personals by forming a New Orleans Band (and guests) with

September 1965 Harth had his first tenor sax, and he arranged some changes in music styles and personals by forming the Alfred-Harth-Jazztett:

In 1967, again, Harth arranged some changes in music styles and personals by forming the free improvising group Just Music.
Also, he changed the venue’s name club H into centrum freier cunst by extending der basement spaces for more varied occasions in art, poetry happenings etc. Harth at that time extended his instruments and began to play bass clarinet, trumpet, soprano- and alto sax besides clarinet and tenor saxophone.
