In the words of Carl Jung: "Are we related to something infinite or not?" This was the underlying question as we worked on this album.

A continuation on the themes explored on the previous album "Warrior", "Chrysalis" explores ideas such as liminality, shadow work, individuation, and the evolution of consciousness.

Anilah is the music project of Canadian vocalist and musician Andrea Drury. Her work explores the intersection of music, art, and ritual as a form of medicine. Anilah’s music expresses the elemental, cyclical, and regenerative forces of nature, with each melody woven as a thread into a larger tapestry of song, inviting the listener into a felt experience of remembrance.
