Fast drums, tremolo picking, and harsh vocals... It's black metal, right?! Technically... yes! But you've NEVER heard black metal like this before! The atmosphere here isn't brooding or menacing. On the contrary it's... dare I say, fun?? Bouncy, almost dance-worthy blasts mixed with guitars that are all over the place, yet with a clear foundation in black metal's production, speed, etc, this album strikes a very difficult balance between established rules of black metal, and avant-garde experimentation. Anyone willing to listen with an open mind will be rewarded with a very enjoyable musical experience.

This is a unique sound to me - and I know a LOT of black metal. I'm pretty sure Kenneth has previously mentioned Marduk (secular) and Armageddon Holocaust (Christian) as influences, but while there are clear elements from such bands, this is a whole new experience.
