On their second album, the Hamburg-based band pushes the boundaries. The doomy parts are even more doomy and crushing, the fast ones even more aggressive. A melancholy mood is always enthroned above everything. For the first time, singer Sebastian uses clean vocals alongside his fierce growls, adding another layer to the already varied songs. “the wrath within” is primarily forged from doom and death metal, spiced up with elements of black metal and a good dose of rock and even blues.

Atramentum fuse doom and death metal in a very unique way. The songs also reveal influences from black metal, rock and even blues. Founded in Hamburg in 2018 by Sebastian and Tobias.
