A few years ago Matt Heckler, Jeff Loops and I were all in Western North Carolina enjoying each others company with big meals and late nights. We ended up recording two tracks together of traditional folk tunes from deep in their street performing set lists on low-fi hand held equipment.

Years went by and these tracks had basically been forgotten until we started brainstorming how we could all contribute to the flood relief in Appalachia. We all agreed that releasing these tracks as soon as possible was a must and got some help from our friend at BombShelter Studio in Nashville ran by Andrija Tokic to mix and master.

Every dollar from the sale of this two song album will go directly to the Community Housing Coalition in Marshall, NC where thousands were affected by hurricane Helene. We are thankful to have a means to contribute and hope you enjoy these songs.
