This is the worldwide standard edition of Year One, Volume Three in the PostWax series.

On "Frost" — the follow-up to BESVÄRJELSEN's 2018 debut "Vallmo" — the feeling of being isolated in a cold wilderness in the grip of higher forces is palpable throughout the five tracks, with haunting, enveloping vocals from singer Lea Amling Alazam, outstanding songwriting from guitarists/vocalists Andreas Baier and Staffan Stensland Vinrot, and the forceful rhythm section of Johan Rockner and Erik Bäckwall (both formerly of Dozer).

Besvärjelsen is a Swedish heavy rock band formed in 2014. The band blends stoner and doom influences with melodic songwriting.

The band released the EPs Villfarelser (2015) and Exil (2016). Their debut album, Vallmo (2018), brought wider recognition, followed by EP Frost (2019). Their second album, Atlas (2022), earned critical acclaim and won the Manifest Award for Best Metal Album.
