Candy's .22 is a duo composed of triple OG rap veteranos Existereo and Barfly. The pair have been releasing music together since before your parents had tattoos, and they have returned in 2024 to offer their third studio album, The Neon Room at the Davenport. This new, synth-heavy full-length imagines the two old die-hards as damned to play a fictitious old hotel lounge where they're the night's entertainment forever.

The dizzying, Drive-cum-Blade Runner electro bangers selected for the album were produced by four familiar names: Erick "Progeny" Frias (beat-smith for Ceschi Ramos et al.), Existereo's brother Christian Gibson, Livin' la Vida Boo-hoo producer and Side Road Records chief Factor Chandelier, and the electrifying L.A. upstart who goes by the name Gunned Down Wolf. The 13-track long-player also features Vast Aire (Cannibal Ox), 2Mex, Lady Tigra (L'Trimm), and Juno award nominee Jeans Boots.
