Cedric Vermue is a pianist and producer from Amsterdam. Inspired upon the Awakening book series by Joanne Banyer, he is composing one song for every journal. Awakening - The Beginning is the first of the series, compiling a collection of singles that will be released over the years.

Have you ever pondered the deeper purpose of existence or the mysteries that lie beyond our understood reality? Joanne Banyer has. Amidst life’s inexplicable moments, there are some you simply can’t ignore. On the eve of her father’s sudden passing in January 2014, Joanne encountered an intelligent vibrational energy so tangible that it altered her perception of life itself. This wasn’t her only rendezvous with the unknown. Four years later, in June 2018, that very energy sought her out once again, initiating an awakening. Dive into this riveting true tale, chronicling Joanne’s ongoing journey of spiritual discovery and connection. An intimate account of one woman’s dance with the unseen.

The true story, Awakening - The Beginning, is the first in a series of books based on Joanne's personal encounters with spirit, the recordings of which started in a journal gifted from her son at Christmas in 2016. Books to follow in the Awakening series based on Joanne's personal journals are 1NF1N1T1, Eternal Love, This Time Around, Esotheric Lifetime, Ascension, Kundalini, Becoming, Ascension Access, Luminescent Transcendence, and Revenant Indemnification. How these names came about is unique in itself, each appearing before, then becoming a theme in the journal. Certainly, spiritually influenced!
