Created in the summer of 2023, beat tape 02 captures a period
of music making born of honest leisure, curiousity & nostalgia.

After a busy year of music making, Ben Jacobs AKA Crackazat spent a portion of his summer experimenting with greatly awaited new music computer. After a few beat making sessions, inspiration had truly hit and a total of 12 tracks were created over two weeks.

Very content with the results, a decision was made to formally release the collection as beat tape 02 (a follow up to Beat Tape 01, a compilation of Crackazat beats from 2007-09).

Beat Tape 02 is a bespoke & hand crafted experience made with raw & fresh ingredients. All of the musical loops have been played and manipulated by crackazat himself. This is brand new, original and authentic music.

Originally from Bristol England, Ben Jacobs aka Crackazat is a multi-Instrumentalist and electronic producer. Since his emergence on the international scene, he has quickly become recognised for his unique fusion of Jazz and house music.
