Recently unearthed live recordings of two very different versions of Sleepy Silver Door. The first features drummer, Stephen Mcarty at the peak of his powers. Deep into the tour following our 'Three Kings" album, the band closes out a sold out show at what is always a favorite spot to play, Chicago's Empty Bottle. The second Sleepy Silver Door becomes a lysergic fueled adventure as we close out the Saturday evening at Hickey Fest, a small psychedelic festival beneath the Redwoods of Northern California.

Dead Meadow formed in 1998 in Washington DC, coming together to fuse their love of Led Zeppelin and Sabbath style riffs with the local punk and DIY aesthetic of their hometown. They became early pioneers of what would become the modern psychedelic rock scene and over the years have created a niche that only they can fill.
