"The track features blistering guitar work, frenetic vocals and a dollop of distortion, immediately bringing to mind The Cure. Sad Lovers & Giants, and Glorious Din also come through; Deceitsโ sound also can be likened to more modern bands such as Human Tetris, Soviet Soviet, and Twin Tribes. Failures dwells in that sweet spot between gothic and alternative, bridging genres as well as emotion." - Post-Punk.com
"The song successfully treads a line between dark and melodic, open and introspective. Failures takes some of its musical cues from classic and modern post-punk โ think The Cure circa Seventeen Seconds meeting the modern dynamics of Soft Kill or She Past Away."

Our second single release "Failures" was written during a moment of extreme mental reflection during quarantine. While the overall emotions of the songs are negative, the line "The bliss of failure" is a stark reminder that sometimes you just need to laugh at the face of negativity and sadness.
As a bonus we've included an alternate demo performance & DIY mix of our first single "Every Promise"
