We are honored to have been able to collaborate with Mbilou on our new track “Talking Bird”. This is the original video (link below) of him playing Mungongo, mouth harp, that we sampled from for our track. We came across this piece just scrolling through videos and then became inspired to make a track from the entrancing music Mbilou was creating. Mbilou is Bwiti from Gabon in Central Africa. The song lyrics are about the talking bird - aka the parrot - that was sent by God to talk to the people in the village. 100% of the proceeds will be going towards the Bwiti elders in Mbilou’s village to help carry on their traditions.
