For the eleventh edition of the DISPLAYSOLO series the Ontario-based artist Cares contributes a collection of four tactile sonic explorations. Like a set of recreated memories that never existed, “Remembered Surfaces” winds through a blurred map of mutating spaces that feel both familiar and alien, both real and artificial.

DISPLAY is a record label curated by Kid Smpl which aims to showcase long form musical explorations. Guest artists are asked to create original works with a single constraint: a 10 minute+ run time.
