FLAU proudly presents new 12inch line called 'raum', with the first release being an exciting new project Stefan Jós by Devon Hansen aka Lotide (Astro Dynamics:) and D.Hansen (Where To Now?). Devon's follow up to the split release with Austin Cesear on Opal Tapes by both expanding those early ideas and stripping things down to the bare essentials - focusing more on groove and texture than the lead or melody. FLAUは2015年より新たなプロジェクトとして「raum」 をスタートさせます。raumの第一弾リリースはポストSeefeel/Lukid的なダウンビートで注目を浴びたLotide名義での活動や、Where To Now?からのミュージック・コンクレート作品で知られるD.Hansenによる新たなプロジェクト Stefan Jós。Opal TapesからのAustin CesearとのスプリットEPやLotide名義で聴かれていたメランコリックなパッドのレイヤーや、主となる旋律の要素を極限にまで排し、Moritz von Oswald TrioやRicardo Villalobosにも通じるミニマルなビートとパーカッシヴな具体音に細かな音響処理を施し、遊び心溢れる電子音を付与することで肉体的なグルーヴの中に豊潤なテクスチュアの変化を体感できる作品になっています。
マスタリングをDemdike Stare、Milie & Andreaなどで活躍するMiles Whittaker、カッティングを長年Dubplates & Masteringでオーナーを務めて来た[LUPO]ことAndreas Lubichが担当。
