Hi, I'm MIDNIGHT DRIVER head of Future 80's Records and I present you my new album " D I S C O T E K ". It merges Synthwave with Post-Disco in an explosive mix you've not heard before. It took an year and a half for this project to mature and reach it's final form so now is the right time to be shown to you, the retrowave public.

" D I S C O T E K " is energy, melancholy and fun. It's an album meant to carry you through various decades of retro-futuristic emotions. " D I S C O T E K " is a homage to the PAST, an escape from the PRESENT and a glance into the FUTURE. Enjoy it and SEE YA on the neon grid!

*RANKED no.5 in top 2017 Retrowave EPs*
"Discotek is just such an odd album that’s few of expectation defying moments — moments which litter just about every song. It’s a dynamic release that sees Midnight Driver doing things with synthwave that few if any other artists are trying, and the sheer inventiveness of the tracks makes the EP exhilarating to play loudly."

newretrowave.com - "This release is truly fantastic, as is stretches synthwave to these new, dancable sounds, almost creating a genre unto itself. It works so well because it melds retro themes with classic dance music – not the big room wub we've come to see in the 21st century. 'Video Love' and it's accompanying VIDEODROME music video bleeds HPLC verified pure retro cool. It's one of the best tracks I've heard all year..."
