Blind at The Age of Four is the first full-scale entry into the anachronistic world of GAUNT – a world of music, technological experimentation and visual art.
The album's title comes from Jack Warne aka GAUNT’s experience suffering from a rare eye condition – Thiel-Behnke Corneal Dystrophy - a hereditary dystrophy he's suffered with since he was a child.
This condition led to a young GAUNT spending weeks at a time in bed, in complete darkness. It was during these episodes that he first connected with music in a deep way thanks to his late-father who also suffered from the condition, and is a key figure throughout the album.
In Loving Memory of David Adrian Warne, 1959-2014
