GRIMOIRE is both a system of neurological occultism and a sonic exploration of neural mechanisms through esoteric symbolism. Constructed through stream-of-consciousness composition, the ritual is performed and recursively written by the mind's attempt at reading itself.

Across thirteen chaotic pieces, assembled as unstable structures of mutable and delirious riffs that behave as intrusive thoughts, the album presents a full auditory mythology of brain anatomy and function. Consciousness as cosmology, neural entities, spirits, sacred chambers, revelations, and an unfathomable deity.

Just as a grimoire stores occult knowledge and procedures that can alter the experience of reality, the brain becomes at once author, archive, organism, book, labyrinth, temple, prison, and god. The organ capable of conceiving gods inherits their throne. And the ceremony, which mirrors consciousness, relies on invocation, hallucination, encoding, and possession to achieve transformation.

The ritual contained within GRIMOIRE is performed as the listener attentively participates in it, with the final thirteen-point sigil becoming engraved through the process of acquiring it by listening to the album.
