This album is dedicated to my father Leonard A Herzenberg, Ph.D. (1931-2013), to my ‘art mother’ Morag Hood (1942-2002), to my mother Leonore A Herzenberg (b.1935 and still powering along!) and to the great creative spirit(s) that inspire and connect us all.

Internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter and guitarist Jana Herzen originally hales from the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a Motéma recording artist and also the Founder and President of the multi-GRAMMY®-winning tastemaker label, which specializes in culturally trenchant jazz, world, soul and other creative music. Herzen's recent albums are collaborations with bassist Charnett Moffett.
