KEN TANAKA is a Japanese music composer and drummer of the instrumental band Hyakkei. Now based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, he turns fragments of everyday life — morning walks, harbor sunsets, small conversations — into warm instrumental music.

His solo work is built with guitar, loops, piano, electronics, and gentle rhythms, creating wordless songs that often feel as if they are quietly singing.
