Middle James, the dynamic duo of Sam Weeks and Connor Mackenzie, emerged from the streets of Eora/Sydney in 2022, blending deep house with a jazzy twist. Drawing from their backgrounds—Sam as a jazz saxophonist and Connor as a classically trained pianist—they’ve quickly made waves in the electronic scene. Their latest release, a 5-track EP titled "Woi Oi" on Last Forever Records, showcases high-quality dancefloor material enriched with live instrumentation. Think Crackazat meets Floating Points in the studio: every track is designed to move both body and soul, a true testament to their evolving sound.
