this album was recorded live in october 2018 spanning 5 days. of a total of 7 instrumental songs clocking in just under 70 minutes, 2 were created on the spot. moving along a spectrum from spontaneous free forms of ">>" to the relatively rigid fashion of "mihribahn"; the album contains fresh ideas like "kars volta" and older ones such as "x!x!", as well as pieces with more narrative takes such as "z/e|/i|/ü|" and cut-up endeavors of "bağlamışım, çözülmüyor" kind.

Lopenstraat is an instrumental sextet formed in 2014. Covering a spectrum between feedback-induced storytelling and free improvisation, Lopenstraat recycles elements of various genres. Their debut album is an attempt at capturing their sonic profile during their self-managed European tour in August 2018.
