The Moe Nellow project was way ahead of its time - maybe a little TOO ahead, that's why it never made it big. In fact, it never made it at all, as it got ostracized by the music industry. Luckily, after so many years, the project resurfaced at last.


The story of Moe Nellow reboots, as often happens, by chance.
During the summer of 1993 Andrea "Bisboch" Babich is on holiday with her mother in the Senigallia countryside. He's quite bored and spends the time strolling around and listening to PFM on his walkman. He fortuitously finds another cassette in a ditch.
Eager to listen to something fresh after one week of PFM - the only cassette he brought on holiday - Bisboch tries to play the newfound cassette with his walkman, but he finds out the tape is snapped. He runs home and fixes it with some adhesive tape - his effort does not leave him dissatisfied, as side A is in fact “Age of Consent” by Bronski Beat. But the real suprise is on side B: a song never heard before, arranged in pure Italo-Disco style, sang by a mysterious singer with a provocative, risqué female choir. Lyrics suggest the title might be "Futa Sight", but who is the singer? When was it recorded? The quest for finding Moe Nellow begins.
Nearly thirty years after after retrieving the now legendary “Senigallia Tape”, we are honored to bring you a whole LP by Moe Nellow - the singer, or should we say the project, who recorded many classics that had never been officially released.
