Ahead of a sold out live show at KOKO, London on 17th February - the final date of a marathon 12-month tour in support of their incredible debut album - Maribou State share Portraits Outtakes: a trio of previously unreleased tracks from the Portraits sessions bearing the duo's signature blend of live instrumentation expertly woven with warm electronics.

Beginning life in 2011 as a project between Chris Davids & Liam Ivory, Maribou State released a string of EPs & singles before the arrival of debut album "Portraits" propelled them to the world stage, 2018’s stunning "Kingdoms In Colour” album followed. Now they return with “Blackoak” — a classic slice of signature Maribou sound. It acts as a reintroduction to the world and a statement of intent.
