The 1980s rediscovery of garage and psychedelia was in full bloom when The Marshmallow Overcoat plugged in their first fuzz box. Many of their contemporaries soon dissolved or changed musical styles, but the desert combo remained true. The Marshmallow Overcoat became one of the planet’s longest-ever-lasting flag bearers for paisley punk from 1986-2011.

This "Very Best Of" digital edition -- also available as a 2-LP vinyl gatefold set -- collects the best from each of the band's many 45s, albums, CDs and compilation appearances, covering for the first time the entire 25-year history of this classic band.

Blistering fuzz guitar, Rickenbacker jangle and psychedelic color engulf these 28 songs -- and shout the timeless garage message of The Marshmallow Overcoat.
