“Where is My Home?” is the first movement of Migiwa Miyajima’s “Unbreakable Hope & Resilience,” a documentary-style jazz suite based on post-2011 Japanese earthquake interviews. It depicts Pastor Akira Sato shepherding over 200 parishioners through multiple evacuation camps, eventually founding a new church after witnessing overwhelming global support. Sam Dillon's soul-stirring tenor sax solo and the expressive ensemble narrate this journey from extreme hardship to peace.

Migiwa Miyajima is a NY based composer, pianist, 6-time Grammy-nominated producer, and survivor of the 2011 Japanese earthquake, dedicated to advocating resilience. Leading 17-piece Miggy Augmented Orchestra and KYMN, she uniquely blends jazz, classical, and pop with her Japanese heritage, uniting audiences via music. She has worked with luminaries such as Slide Hampton and The Vanguard Jazz Orch.
