On Cortex, Mindwork dives deep into human psyche to describe the feeling of depersonalization of your own body (Depersonalized), unveils the darkest side of a desperate, psychopatic citizen, who decides to deal with the hated politician in his own way (Last Lie Told) and destructive influence that toxic people around you have on your personality (Grinding the Edges).

Founded in 2007, Mindwork is a prog/death metal band from Czech Republic.
Since then we've released 2 albums, both of them nominated for the best hard&heavy records in CZ, and played number of gigs with bands such as Cynic, Suffocation and Nocturnus.

After 8 years of hiatus, we're back stronger than ever with the brand new EP - Cortex, to be released in January 2021.
