Another proper classic from the vaults of Peppermint Jam. „Catch The Beat“ probably one of the most iconic and influential Hip Hop tracks next to Rappers Delight and The Message, having been sampled a trillion times. Good label mate Dimitri From Paris did a fantastic job updating Stetsasonics „Talkin´All The Jazz“ so he and Mousse T. thought „ Let´s do this again!“ and they did! An uptempo rework of the original using a full live band is now available with a remastered version of the OG mix and a brand new edit.
With a career that spans over 3 decades, Mousse T. is arguably one of the best House producers, ever, to come out of Germany. A pioneer in Uplifting House music Mousse T. co-founded the legendary label Peppermint Jam Records in 1993 from which he established himself as an award-winning songwriter, international Dj and critically acclaimed producer.
