On the second EP for his Dynamics Of Acid label, acid aficionado MOY — fresh from releases on Nocta Numerica and Batrachian — teams up with the mysterious Zodiac Childs for a feast of shredded breaks, electro melodies and moody atmospheres.

On the A-side, MOY’s ‘Ratufa’ mixes euphoric pianos, hardcore drums and glowering bass with a side order of 303, while Zodiac Childs ups the intensity with a remix that adds ascending arpeggios and gigantic rave stabs to light up the dance.

On the B-side, Zodiac Childs offers up the smouldering break chops and cavernous bass bleeps of ‘Overstep’, before flipping into acid madness halfway through. Finally, MOY’s version threads serpentine sulphuric tones through an intricate melodic arrangement and a dusty hip-hop drum loop.

It all adds up to a jaw-dropping release from two of the hottest names in the electronic underground.
