NYS#200
i am encircled by an indiscernible rotating objet d'art, the rarefied function of which i may not discern, representing despair every day, from which i cannot necessary escape without great difficulty, for one method of evasion may not work the next because the despair is, underlyingly, as clever as i am, if not moreso because it exists within my mind and i prefer to focus on things beyond my mind and externalize things within myself so they don't torture me in this way. thus, it should come as no surprise that, having observed the tracked motions of this objet d'art, i not only classify its function readily as "(perhaps generalized) anxiety," but i am also fascinated with the objet d'art as a mere concept having examined such elaborate engravings wrought onto my own despair's very surface, having meditated on the reason for the great detail within its grooves and the ornamentation which makes my despair so compelling, no longer concerned with whatever it contains within. with this engrossment comes a desire to replicate elements of my despair, my violent detachment from the world, elsewhere in abstract, leading me to conceive of a hypothetical "art object" which has transcended merely detail's excess impeding function and has in fact become impossible to create reasonably without an excess of resources, training, precision, inspiration, and opulence. i have written descriptions of many such pieces which are not intended to be created, but to be "read." my corporeal creations, meanwhile, exist in the realm of the real to an extent i see seldom otherwise: they're just serendipitous moments in time, each as fortunate as the next to have been recorded, a chronology of events displaced from themselves, an unfinished yet self-documenting thought, a semblance of really being. given the themes of my anxiety, often involving existential concerns of greater meaning or overarching structures or even "true natures" concealed from the eye, i have come to embrace my own insignificance as a beautiful thing, a functional object which keeps me on earth. vocal trance is this among other things, but it's mostly just vocal trance.
