This album brings the LOST SONGS project to a close. These 15 songs are presented in a loosely chronological order, and can be listened to as two 'chapters'. The first chapter is songs, sketches and rough demos from the 2003-2009 period, this chapter ends with the track 'Shaking On A String'. Then in the second chapter there is more recent material from the 2010-2021 period. In some cases, the more sonically challenged demos have been reworked, overdubbed and remastered into improved versions.

It's been a strange experience for me offering these tracks to be listened to- remember that at the time I chose not to put any of these ideas out on albums, so they are all either unfinished or discarded ideas, rejected songs, or earlier primal forms of later released songs. In order to let you listen to them, I've had to grit my teeth and ignore my inner critic... in the process, I've grown to freshly appreciate some of these long neglected musical offcuts.

Anyway... here we are- again I ask you take them simply as they are. I hope that despite all their mistakes and rough edges, you discover something in here that you like.

Cheers, and from this point onwards... it's new music all the way.
