Standing on the mountainside you can see the entire landscape. Shaded gullies in the valley, branches moving with the wind and in the distance lines converging with the vault, the clouds stacked high and pierced by beams of light. Intricate details can be found when you stop for a moment and be still. Mirrors face one another, an infinite world.

Heatwave, the new record from Melbourne duo OK EG, is an exploration of techno’s deepest layers. Tracks like “Radial” pulse with bass-heavy grooves, while “Heatwave” melts into lysergic bliss—each sound folding in on itself, revealing new dimensions. Mirrored by the mind bending artwork, Heatwave is a trip through refracted techno at it’s most intricate.
