Prehistoric tribal ambiental shamanic invocation of the ancient Ice age animal Totems, ancient and gigantic mammalian wildlife collectively known as Megafauna.

Feel the Ice Age giants walk toward you as you tremble before the mighty sight.. Let your mind transcend the boundaries of time and space, as you find yourself in a cold cave, hearing the thunderous footsteps of a herd of Mammoths. The ground is cold and the fire must be extinguished if you don't want to attract an unwanted visitor - a Sabertooth, known for his roamings in these parts while following and preying upon Mammoth herd.

Prehistoric artist-shaman then carves the lines and draws the glyphs in the cave walls, creating a Totem of the Megafauna, inviting the mighty ancestral energies of the Wild to take hold of tribe's life and destiny. The tribe slowly chants and meditates in unison, summoning the Great Feral spirit of Nature.

Early history of the planet Earth was ripe with lifeforms that may well go beyond our imagination. Still, animal world lost to our knowledge and percepetion is not lost to our collective unconscious and genetic memory.

There was once a magnificent and glorious time when giants walked the Earth. Colossal wildlife roamed the Ice Age tundras and steppes while early Hominids watched in awe. Impressions that these glorious beings, powerful specimens of mother Nature, made to the newborn minds of Ice Age humans was tremendous.

Paleowolf is a tribal/dark ambient project aimed at invoking the ancient spirits of prehistoric past. The era of Paleowolf is set in times before the Flood, during and after the post-cataclysmic Ice Ages and so called 'paleolithic/neolithic' age.
