PawPaw Rod is Rodney Hulsey, a singer and rapper hailing from Oklahoma City, blending ‘60s soul with the cadence of hip hop — like a woozier Bill Withers or Gil Scott-Heron. His passion for writing found him at a young age as he traveled all over the world as a military brat. ‘Another PawPaw Rod EP’ is another feel good release from the Capricorn Cowboy, is laced with California Sunshine - likely a product of his relocation to Los Angeles 4 years ago. PawPaw describes the project as “a continuation of showing love and giving love; my interpretation of vulnerability and optimism."
