"zeroid 2004" is the final statement of Hamburg's ZEROID. In 2004 they got together one last time to record 8 depressive, dark and brutal tracks of their own. ZEROID found this balancing point with the juxtaposition of melody and dissonance. All over the record they created a dark and devastating mood with a crushing wall of sound as well as short melodic pieces that are over and over again interrupted by their shattering darkness of cutting, downtuned guitar riffs and ferocious drums, stomping bass lines and snarling vocals spit unappealing hate. ZEROID could be called the pissed version of older Neurosis, Uranus or the darker version of His Hero Is Gone because they combine dark apocalytically tunes with crushing metallic hardcore. If you never heard of these German's before get all their records (beside the "2004" album, "self-titled" LP and "2002" 10"). With their last suicide-rock effort they created their best work and one of the most exceptional hardcore records.
