Released in 1991, Reincarnation (輪廻転生) marks a defining moment in Phantasia’s journey. Following the overwhelming success of earlier releases, driven by the cultural phenomenon of Dream Collector, the band achieved enough acclaim to establish their own independent label, Phantasia Records, while integrating and rebranding their original producers at Zodiac Records. This bold step marked the beginning of a new era, where creative freedom and innovation thrived.

With Reincarnation, Phantasia paid homage to their roots while venturing into uncharted territory, blending their trio era explorations with a more polished, electronic sound. The album stands as a testament to Phantasia's constant evolution.

This project is a tribute to the golden age of Japanese jazz fusion. Through storytelling, art and AI, we aim to reimagine a lost era and evoke the timeless beauty of this genre.
