Pinecone Moonshine's Rhythm Section is an album of breakbeat focused drum and bass. Themes of jazz and funk connect the different styles of each artist. Rhythms range from steady rolling, drumfunk to bizarre syncopated patterns to techstep and techno-like rhythms. Featuring both regulars of the label and bringing new musicians into the fold.
The album concludes with a 6/8 drumfunk collaboration between ANMA on analog synthesizers and Nic TVG supplying drum samples, available on digital.
Run by Nic TVG, Pinecone Moonshine is a collection of Drumfunk (drum and bass) and other abstract and ambient music.
See the neocities link below for the demo policy.
Majority of the tracks are melancholy collages of noise, heavily processed samples, and atmospherics driven by broken break beats and heavy sub. Free jazz, early electronics, blues, and funk are noticeable influences.
