When the tide keeps rising, there are no compromises. And the new album from future soul advocates Planetself manifests exactly that.

Crafted in the heart of an earthship nestled deep in the forest, Planetself - composed of Erin Buku (vocals/production, formerly Charli Umami) and Inkswel (production/DJ) - deliver an unparalleled sonic journey that transcends genre boundaries, blending influences from hip hop, neo soul, RnB, broken beat & house.

More than just an album, "High Tide 2" is a testament to collaboration and creativity. Featuring an illustrious lineup of guest artists including the late RAS G, Afronaut (Bugz in the Attic), Osunlade (Yoruba Soul), John Robinson, Yarah Bravo, the late Zion I aka Zumby, New York disco outfit FSQ, former Slum Village member Illa J, Tokyo Dawn funksters Reggie B and Pugs Atomz, Conscious rapper Illuminati Congo, Mista Monk and many more, the album showcases the group's ability to foster the worldwide music community.

"This album is the culmination of years of musical exploration and experimentation, reborn with new energy and depth," says Erin Buku of Planetself. "High Tide 2" promises listeners an immersive experience with its mix of previously unreleased, unheard and hard-to-find tracks, all meticulously repackaged and remastered. The album's artwork, created by Mumptown, adds a visual dimension that complements the evocative nature of the music.
