90 minutes!"Missile Foundation". (thinking of bands King Missile Dog Fly Religion and Missing Foundation.) A "noise/spoken word" side project featuring a cast of 13 friends. Largely inspired by NYC rocker Billy Syndrome who appears. A lot of sounds and fun and modicum of angst. Created with a 4-track 'porta-studio' on a 90 minutes cassette (therefore the length). Photo is from the 1st ever centerfold in "Xposeur", a scene zine in NYC.
Released by 109 Records, NYC in 1989 on cassette.

The first Roger Manning album was released by California punk recording label SST (Black Flag, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr.). I toured the US and occasionally bits of Europe for over 10 years performing wordy-solo-rock accompanied by bass-heavy amplified 'acoustic' guitar. There's been a bit of re-emergence since 2007 and the album release in December 2014.
