Attrition features the first two songs written specifically by Rossetti's Compass "My Will" and "Desire" which have remain unreleased until now in their original form. The latest two songs are "Attrition" and "Perfection" plus we have included 2 covers we really like, Shivering Skin by Tom Wunder and Love? and Coboloid Race by the Canadian
giants of Minimal Electronic music Rational Youth.

Also included here are four remixes, two of which are new, by Digital ENERGY and Fearpassage and two that are just too
good to be left out by Technomancer and ATTRITION.

So why Attrition?
Because doing anything worth while is a hard slog, up hill in the rain.
Because it can destroy more than it creates.
Because most people take more than they give.
Because walking the road less travelled is a lonely path.
Because we fall, pick ourselves up and start again many times.

Attrition - Noun "the process of reducing something's strength or effectiveness through sustained attack or pressure."

The EP could have just as easily been called Fortitude - noun "courage in pain or adversity" but we didn't write a song called Fortitude.

The 4 original songs on this EP are the 4 pillars of Rossetti's Compass. "Attrition" - represents relentless preasure, "Perfection" - the need to succeed, "Desire" - the love for what we do and "My Will" - the means by which it will be achieved.
