LOWMOON is the dreamy lofi indie project of Yorkshire based musician/producer Mikey Wilson. Channelling new wave, post-punk, dreampop and shoegaze references LOWMOON exists within its own unique sound. Blending jangly guitars and synths with vintage drum machines and reverb drenched vocals.

Embracing a DIY ethos Mikey writes, records and mixes the music in his bedroom studio. Preferring the tactile experience of using outboard equipment over software, his growing collection of 80’s pawn-shop drum machines and keyboards impart lofi nostalgic textures into the productions.

Founded in York in 2018, Safe Suburban Home (SSH) is an independent record label. SSH is all about connecting with new music, that introduction to a band that creates a lasting bond, in the same vein as the great singles clubs and is an incubator for the best new talent around.
