“Puaj,” is an indigenous instrument played by Yung Yijaturat. It was recorded by Salin during her trip to the Nyah Kur Tribe in Isaan, the Northeast of Thailand. The moment she heard the instrument, she also heard a full song, and was dancing along with Yung’s performance. [you can witness this on her Nyah Kur Documentary]

Originally the percussion was recorded in Canada, played by Elli Miller Maboungou, but magically, the Puaj and Elli's percussions perfectly played the same tempo without even knowing each other before. This synergy expresses that we’re all connected regardless of where we are from.
