So I finished my summer job at the end of July and I haven't done a damn thing since. I've been working on music and collaborations like a madman to keep myself from feeling like a complete bum, but even after that I can't help but feel a little useless. That's where I drew inspiration for the title. To mostly everyone outside of my inner circle of friends, it's like I haven't even existed this summer, and that's crazy to me.

Before I started work on this album, I got a Moog Sub Phatty. It played a huge role in the making of this collection of tracks and sits at home right next to my MicroKorg. If any of you are thinking about getting one, I'd say go for it.

Thanks to everyone who listened to these tracks as I hammered them out, I appreciate your ears and patience. Thanks to Naaman, Zach, Stephen and the rest of the BEACH crew for being talented and pushing me to make better music. Thanks to David, James, and Jayke for giving me a place to want to be this Summer; without you guys I wouldn't have left my apartment.
