Spirals is a collection of sound recordings by artist, musician and field recordist Ezra Gray. The album was recorded on the Dorset coast during Autumn 2024. The music has been inspired by mushroom foraging and walks, usually around ancient sites, hillforts and stone circles on the South Dorset Ridgeway. The music comprises of reel to reel tape loops, guitar, synthesizers, cello and shrutibox all mixed live during the recording. Spirals was created whilst thinking about patterns which occur within creative acts, nature and the environment.
