Jay Em is a duo formed by two brothers, Ruwayne(18) and Waven Sebia (21) both based in the sunny seaside town Port Elizabeth in South Africa.
Jay Em are self taught producers and started making beats at the young age of 12 & 14. The brothers lost a close friend Four7 who produced the South Africa smash hit J’adore. The passing of such a close friend made them want to produce more and make impact on the world around them.
I am pretty certain this 4 track EP will make the impact they have been
longing for sounding like South Africa’s answer to Kaytranda.
Stay True Sounds are very proud to showcase Jay Em on the label and know the music will truly speak for itself. Jay Em have landed!

At a time when mediocrity and artifice dilute and diminish dance music, Kid Fonque has formulated the antidote.
Enter ‘Stay True Sounds’, a new independent record label that places good taste over hits and longevity over trends. The label’s creative agenda is simple: to unearth, nurture and present real, evocative music.
