Flames Revisited (Part I)

The idea of the EP began a few months after the launch of the instrumental punk-metal album Flames (2019). After the release of the album, I’ve been asked a lot about making songs with lyrics with the tracks of the album… So here is the first 3-tracks EP of the revisited songs from the Flames album with lyrics! I asked David Boulianne (from Long Strory Short) to write the lyrics for “The Hands”, I asked Remy Julien to do “Last Horizon”, and while I was recording them, I wrote “Going Through” on my own.

Steel Bridges is a melodic punk project with a metal accent from Quebec City (Canada). Founded by the recording artist Philippe Routhier in 2019, the one-man-band is 100% DIY and self-produced.

Philippe Routhier worked on different musical project, ELZ & Rawk777, Batards, Phil & Mark, in addition to having been a sound designer and musical composer for video games, and a live sound engineer.
