Recorded live in Santa Fe New Mexico September 22, 2019
The solar fire - star burst of energy contained in this piece is about engaging with life at 100% in the moment, the place this music is born from. The live interaction of the molecular - innerwoven melodic and rhythmic sequences can only happen at this level live with an audience on board and a full bodied sound system propelling the experience forward. The forms and visceral power of this music is literally carved from reacting to and listening deep into the sound in the performance space at concert volume.

Starting with the magnificent Moog format analog modular synth system as the central instrument the acoustic nature of the venue and the physical attributes of the audience in the space along with their energy all adds this complex equation of creating this music. This form of music needs time to birth - evolve, unfurl, burn bight and simmer down into a sweet spot where the sonic magic feels multi dimensional and could go on forever.

This was recorded on the second night of my 2019 Santa Fe engagement and represents a high point in my live sequencer based pieces/performances. While it might see a wide scale release someday this what the subscription page is all about. This night was special, one of those for the ages and grateful to have it here for you now.
