Self-recorded and produced in Hobart, Tasmania, the songs are sirens of obscurity, disassociation, excess and disorder; dense with static, synth, noise, conversation, dream and melody. They are a cocoon of all that we are surrounded by, and also an escape – blurry, encompassing and abrasive. The album acts as a retreat from the uncertainty and contradictory experience of the present, and the tracks, as a result of this, are chaos.

Tasha Zappala is a singer-songwriter based in Lutruwita/Tasmania. When not touring, she spends her time in the southern woods making billypots of beans, drinking tea and capturing field recordings.
