So I ended up not liking my first album Reverberation because there was a lot of negativity surrounding its creation and the way it turned out because of that and because of time/money constraints. I had folk around me at the time who weren't up to the task of being involved in music as seriously as I was.
So I ended up briefly alienated with no band, which turned out to be the best thing because I made this entire album myself. I recorded every track on my own and was contacted by a guy called Jason Shaw who wanted to mix my music, I recorded all the music and he and I went into a studio and I re-did the drums and vocals there so they could be recorded better. After that Jason took the files back to Cambodia and mixed it all, sent it to Joe Carra of Crystal Mastering and then we were done.
I funded the entire project myself, including recording, paying Jason and Joe for their services, producing CDs, vinyl, paying Javier for the artwork, and everything in between.
You gotta make it happen!!
