Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief) stated: "It is not often I come across bands who are producing great rock music like this, with hooks, melodies and atmospheres that stay with you. The Black Fall's album Clear Perception contains just great songs. That's why it was one of the most enjoyable projects I have worked on.

The Black Fall formed in Enschede, The Netherlands in 2013. Their sound consists of a mix in the twilight zone of progressive rock and metal, topped of with clear vocal lines.
