“An imaginative, distinctive, hypnotic yet kinetic blend of indie classical, minimalism, postrock and drone music” (New York Music Daily), Peaks is the debut full-length album from powerhouse percussion trio TIGUE. The album features guitar and bass contributions from Yo La Tengo's Ira Kaplan and James McNew, as well as other contributions from Shahin Motia, Mike Turzanski and Kid Millions (who also produced the record).

TIGUE delivers rhythmic hooks and patterned drones in “an ever-expanding mess of garage and indie-rock” (Q2 Music). Praised for their energetic and focused performances, the Ohio-born, Brooklyn-based members (Matt Evans, Amy Garapic and Carson Moody) have worked together extensively on original and composed music for nearly half a decade. Formed in 2012, TIGUE crystallized out of, and in spite of, the eclectic contemporary, pop, and avant-garde influences inherent in their DNA.
